SALA Media
Library
Housed in 418 Griffin, the SALA collection of documentary and feature
films
from Spain and Latin America is available to UL Lafayette faculty for
use in courses campus wide, and to both faculty and students in Spanish
and LAS for purposes of research and teaching. We also have a limited
number of CD ROMs, primarily of reference and pedagogical material.
Funds
for the acquisition of film have been provided by the UL Lafayette
Office of Faculty Development, the Lyceum Committee of the UL Lafayette
Student Government Association, and the Department of Modern Languages.
Under our 2006-2007 BoRSF Enhancement Grant, we acquired over 200 Latin
American and Latin America related films, which are housed in the
University library. Films can be searched by title through iLink. The
2007 catalogue of Spanish and Latin American films housed at
Dupré is available
in .pdf.
